The resort campus is populated with pine trees and fruit trees, and is away from the noise and traffic of Joshimath town. All the rooms offer mesmerising views of the mountains and guests are able to relax in the midst of nature. Accommodation in the resort campus has been deliberately kept to a minimum so that there is plenty of outdoor space for guests to enjoy the surrounding Himalayan views. Guests can also request for, and unwind around a bonfire in the evenings.
There is no regular restaurant in the resort- instead there is an in-house kitchen that serves simple home-stay style food. Guests looking for fancy restaurant-style fare will have to go to the market.
There are two types of accommodation in the resort- Deluxe rooms and Swiss Tents. They are described in detail in the section “Rooms & Booking”. In short, the Deluxe rooms are traditional brick & mortar constructions while the Swiss tents are made of heavy canvas draped on metal framework.
The resort is ideally located to cater to tourist traffic for both Badrinath and Auli. Badrinath temple-town is around 50km from the resort and guests are able to comfortably leave for Badrinath in the morning and return back well in time in the evening after also visiting Mana, the last village on the border.
Auli is just 10km from the resort and guests have the option to reach Auli either by the ropeway(cable-car) or by road. The ropeway takes tourists to the highest point of Auli, while by driving one reaches the lowermost part of Auli.
